Somatic Coaching

I’m Kalindi — somatic practitioner, yoga teacher, death doula and poet. My work is about supporting curiosity, presence, and connection with the body’s natural wisdom. I value time in nature and quiet spaces, where there is often room to slow down, notice what is present, and simply be.

If you or someone that you know may be interested in a private or group session online or in person, please contact me at kdinoffer@gmail.com to learn more.

My Path

I came to this work through my own body’s often persistent requests for attention. Experiences with injury, health issues and ongoing discomfort led me to explore the mind–body connection more deeply and to question the ways we are often taught to push through tension or ignore subtle signals. This ongoing healing journey continues to guide how I relate to my body and to others—with curiosity, care, and respect for limits.

These experiences inspired me to pursue trainings in yoga, mindfulness, and somatic modalities, including Mindful Self-Compassion & Resonant Language, Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy methodologies, Divine Sleep® Yoga Nidra and Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy, and end-of-life doula training through the Conscious Dying Collective. These trainings and my unique upbringing in a Bhakti yoga community while embracing all other paths of loving service have helped inform how I support others.

How I Work

My somatic offerings are gentle, relational, and grounded in present-moment experience. Sessions may include gentle movement, guided meditation or imagery, and compassionate dialogue. Together, we notice sensations, emotions, breath, imagery, and meaning as they arise, allowing awareness to unfold naturally and at its own pace. I walk alongside those I work with, holding space with a non-judgmental presence. Together, we explore what arises, at your pace and in your way, without pressure or expectation.

This Work May Be Supportive If You:

  • Want to relate to yourself with greater presence and kindness
  • Love learning and want to develop great capacity and resiliency
  • Are living with stress, pain, or recovery from injury or other health challenges
  • Feel disconnected from your body or overwhelmed by inner experience

This work is not about fixing, pushing through discomfort, or forcing emotional release, and no prior yoga or meditation experience is needed.

What to Expect

You can expect a supportive, empathic space rooted in resonance and care. Sessions invite gentle connection with body, mind, heart, and spirit, offering room to explore your lived experience as it is. Together, we notice what is present and how it is held, allowing new awareness—if and when it arises—to integrate into daily life.

Ways We Can Work Together

All of my work is rooted in somatic awareness, present-moment experience, and curiosity. People come to this work for many different reasons—sometimes because something feels difficult or uncertain, and sometimes simply because they sense there is more to discover.

Individual Somatic Sessions:

A spacious place to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and listen more deeply to your body’s natural wisdom. Sessions may support you through life transitions, stress, grief, health challenges, creative or personal exploration, or simply a desire to deepen your relationship with yourself.

Together, we might explore what is present in your body, mind, and heart; make space for something that wants attention; or gently inquire into a question you are carrying. Rather than working toward a predetermined outcome, we allow the session to unfold according to what feels meaningful and alive for you.

Somatic Sessions for Couples:

For couples who want to slow down, become more present, and listen deeply to themselves and one another. Through gentle movement, embodied partner practices, mindful awareness, and intentional dialogue, we explore what arises in the present moment—physically, emotionally, and relationally. These experiences can create space for greater understanding, acceptance, connection, and appreciation of each person’s unique way of being.

These sessions are not about fixing relationships or determining who is right. Rather, it’s a space where each person can become more aware of their own experience, listen to one another with greater presence, and discover what is meaningful for them as a couple.

Group & Community Offerings:

I offer group experiences throughout the year, both in person and online, creating space to slow down, reconnect, and explore together. Offerings may weave together somatic inquiry, mindful self-compassion, Yoga Nidra, writing exploration, guided meditation, gentle movement, and reflection around themes such as embodiment, transition, connection, creativity, and living fully.

I also offer custom experiences for communities, organizations, and private gatherings.

Befriending Death:

As an end-of-life doula trained through the Conscious Dying Collective, I offer space for individuals, families, and groups to explore their relationship with death and dying at any stage of life.

These sessions may support anticipatory grief, serious illness, life transitions, spiritual reflection, meaning-making, relationship repair, legacy, and the conversations that can be difficult to hold alone. They can also simply be an invitation to become more comfortable with mortality and to consider what matters most while we are here.

For those who desire a more structured container, I offer six-session reflection journeys using the North Star Guide, a framework for exploring what matters most to you and orienting toward the life and care that feel meaningful to you. Through guided reflection, somatic inquiry, and embodied exploration, we make space to listen for your own inner compass.

Session Details & Rates:

Sessions are available in person in Lamoine, Maine or on Zoom. My rate is $130 or pay what you’re able for 75 minute individual sessions, and the first session is 50% off. Inquire about couples, group and package rates.
